  • Maybe good for Azerbaijan citizen. Bad for foreigner. Don't trust Azerbaijan people. They say 'give me 10 manat' after finished watching in museum.
  • The house of Miramkhad Khan (Khan-Evi) is certainly one of the most interesting sights of Lenkoran, and perhaps the most interesting after the Lenkoran fortress. This monument of culture and architecture is located in the center of the city and is a real palace. In combination, the house of Mirakhmad Khan is the first high-rise building in the city, the truth of the floor is only three, but at the time of construction almost the entire Lankaran was a one-story settlement. The date of construction of the Miramhad Khan’s house is the beginning of the 20th century, and it is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful from the aesthetic point of view of the buildings of Lankaran. Here, not only the architectural trends characteristic for that period, but also the elements of the national Azerbaijani architecture, generously flavored with the décor typical for these places, were reflected. It’s hard to believe that the architect of this palace was a French specialist. Since 1991, the building houses the Historical and Regional Museum of Lankaran, created in 1924. In the permanent exposition there are clay and metal objects of everyday life, clothes, carpets. Several scenery with three-dimensional figures show how people used to live in Lenkoran.
