The Museum of Folk and Applied Arts holds a collection of mostly 18th and 19th centuries artifacts. The museum's stern exterior reveals an unusual architectural plan that features a central domed rotunda completed with three arms of the Greek cross. As you enter, you will see some old photos and displays of pottery, jewelry, folk costumes, and silk embroideries. Look for the 18th-century gun that was used in the rebellion against one of the most powerful Persian shahs. The museum includes a souvenir shop selling silk scarves, woven knapsacks, and other knick-knacks. Make your Sheki itinerary with Inspirock to find out what to see and where to go.
