A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Step out of Baku to go to Gobustan and see Gobustan State Reserve, which is approximately 1h 5 min away. There's still lots to do: make a trip to Baku Old City, take in the local highlights with Walking tours, see the interesting displays at Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, and take in the pleasant sights at Baku Boulevard.
