Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape (UNESCO Heritage) covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.
On the 6th (Sat), don't miss a visit to Mud Volcanoes and then learn more about the world around you at Gobustan State Reserve.

Getting from Baku to Gobustan by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: take a train. In February, daytime highs in Gobustan are 9°C, while nighttime lows are 3°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 6th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Gabala.

A Young Spirit Located in an Ancient Land

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Spend the 8th (Mon) exploring at Lake Goygol. There's much more to do: explore the activities along Maralgol lake, take in the spiritual surroundings of Imamzadeh Mausoleum, make a trip to Nizami Ganjavi Mausoleum, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Ganja State Puppet Theatre.
