The City of Eternal Flames, the City of Winds

A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Venture out of the city with trips to Gobustan (Gobustan State Reserve & Mud Volcanoes). There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Heydar Aliyev Center, contemplate the long history of Baku Old City, explore the different monuments and memorials at Alley of Martyrs, and go for a walk through Baku Boulevard.

To see ratings, maps, photos, and tourist information, go to the Baku trip maker.

Lucknow, India to Baku is an approximately 14.5-hour flight. You'll gain 1.5 hours traveling from Lucknow to Baku due to the time zone difference. In July, plan for daily highs up to 36°C, and evening lows to 26°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Fri) to allow enough time to travel back home.
