Gabala — 2 nights

If you're fed up of the concrete jungle, take a trip to Gabala for the perfect getaway.
Gabala is known for winter sports, nature, and theme parks. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: contemplate the waterfront views at Yeddi Gozel Waterfall, find something for the whole family at Gabaland, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Gabala City Mosque, and hit the slopes at Tufandag Winter Summer Resort.

Baku to Gabala is an approximately 3.5-hour car ride. You can also take a bus; or do a combination of train and taxi. Expect little chillier evenings in Gabala when traveling from Baku in June, with lows around 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 23rd (Wed) to allow time for the car ride to Ganja.

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Explore Ganja's surroundings by going to Sheki (Sheki Fortress & Sheki Khans' Palace). There's much more to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Lake Goygol, walk around Khan's Garden, don't miss a visit to Bottle House, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Imamzadeh Mausoleum.

Getting from Gabala to Ganja by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of taxi and train. Plan for a bit warmer nights when traveling from Gabala in June since evenings lows in Ganja dip to 22°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 27th (Sun) so you can go by car to Lankaran.
