A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Explore Baku's surroundings by going to Gobustan (Gobustan State Reserve & Mud Volcanoes). There's lots more to do: take in the pleasant sights at Baku Boulevard, stroll the grounds of Alley of Martyrs, examine the collection at Museum of Miniature Books, and take in the dramatic natural features at Yanardag.
