Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape (UNESCO Heritage) covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.
Gobustan is known for museums, sightseeing, and historic sites. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: learn more about the world around you at Gobustan State Reserve, make a trip to Mud Volcanoes, and contemplate the long history of Diri Baba Mausoleum.

Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 25th (Sat) to allow time for the car ride to Gabala.
