A Young Spirit Located in an Ancient Land

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Visit Imamzadeh Mausoleum and St. John's Church for their historical value. Get outdoors at Lake Goygol and Maralgol lake. There's lots more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Shah Abbas Mosque, admire the striking features of Bottle House, take in the architecture and atmosphere at The Alexander Nevsky Church, and don't miss a visit to Nizami Ganjavi Mausoleum.
