A Young Spirit Located in an Ancient Land

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Visit Imamzadeh Mausoleum and The Alexander Nevsky Church for their historical value. Get outdoors at Lake Goygol and Maralgol lake. And it doesn't end there: make a trip to St. John's Church, take in the spiritual surroundings of Shah Abbas Mosque, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Ganja State Puppet Theatre, and admire the landmark architecture of Bottle House.
