Gabala — 4 nights

If you're fed up of the concrete jungle, take a trip to Gabala for the perfect getaway.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory and Gabala Archaeological Center. Kids will enjoy Tufandag Winter Summer Resort and Gabaland. Step out of Gabala to go to Meysary and see Alpaca Azerbaijan, which is approximately 1h 55 min away. There's still lots to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Chukhur Gabala, admire the sheer force of Seven Beauties Waterfall, take in the spiritual surroundings of Gabala City Mosque, and explore the activities along Yeddi Gozel Waterfall.

Traveling by car from Baku to Gabala takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and taxi. Traveling from Baku in July, plan for a bit cooler nights in Gabala, with lows around 21°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 29th (Fri) to allow time to drive to Baku.
