A Young Spirit Located in an Ancient Land

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Spend the 23rd (Sat) exploring at Lake Goygol. Next up on the itinerary: identify plant and animal life at Maralgol lake, pause for some serene contemplation at Ganja State Puppet Theatre, admire the striking features of The Alexander Nevsky Church, and make a trip to Bottle House.
