Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Baku is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone difference moving from Arabian Standard Time (AST) to Azerbaijan Standard Time (AZT) is 1 hour. In July, Baku is little chillier than Riyadh - with highs of 36°C and lows of 26°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 15th (Thu) early enough to catch the flight to Ganja.

A Young Spirit Located in an Ancient Land

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Kick off your visit on the 16th (Fri): contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Goygol. Keep things going the next day: take in the spiritual surroundings of Imamzadeh Mausoleum, identify plant and animal life at Maralgol lake, and then stroll around Heydar Aliyev Park.

Fly from Baku to Ganja in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. In July in Ganja, expect temperatures between 38°C during the day and 25°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Sat) early enough to drive to Sheki.
