Traveling from Lahore in August, expect a bit cooler with lows of 26°C in Baku. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Sat) so you can drive to Gobustan.

Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape (UNESCO Heritage) covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.
Kick off your visit on the 21st (Sun): make a trip to Mud Volcanoes and then learn more about the world around you at Gobustan State Reserve.
