Doha, Qatar to Baku is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Doha to Baku. When traveling from Doha in July, plan for cooler days and little chillier nights in Baku: temperatures range from 36°C by day to 26°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Mon) so you can drive to Gabala.

Gabala — 2 nights

If you're fed up of the concrete jungle, take a trip to Gabala for the perfect getaway.
Kick off your visit on the 12th (Tue): stroll through Tufandag Winter Summer Resort and then get in on the family fun at Gabaland. On the 13th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get engrossed in the history at Gabala Archaeological Center and then explore the activities along Nohur Lake.

Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape (UNESCO Heritage) covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.
On the 14th (Thu), learn more about the world around you at Gobustan State Reserve and then make a trip to Mud Volcanoes.
