Ganja — 1 night

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Ganja is an approximately 14.5-hour flight. You can also drive. Traveling from Dubai in June, expect Ganja to be little chillier, temps between 35°C and 22°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Thu) so you can travel to Goygol.

Sheki is Azerbaijan’s true travel gem, a small city off the forested slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains rich in Silk Road history and renowned for its fascinating architecture, food, and friendly residents.
On the 25th (Sat), make a trip to Sheki Fortress, then admire the striking features of Sheki Khans' Palace, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Church of Kish.

You can drive from Goygol to Sheki in 2.5 hours. Expect a daytime high around 34°C in June, and nighttime lows around 20°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 25th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Gabala.

If you're fed up of the concrete jungle, take a trip to Gabala for the perfect getaway.
Start off your visit on the 26th (Sun): admire the sheer force of Seven Beauties Waterfall, explore the activities along Yeddi Gozel Waterfall, and then fly down the slopes at Tufandag Winter Summer Resort. On the 27th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the spiritual surroundings of Gabala City Mosque and then contemplate the waterfront views at Nohur Lake.
