Gobustan — 1 night

Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape (UNESCO Heritage) covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.
Start off your visit on the 20th (Mon): don't miss a visit to Diri Baba Mausoleum. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 21st (Tue): make a trip to Mud Volcanoes and then learn more about the world around you at Gobustan State Reserve.

Doha, Qatar to Gobustan is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone changes from Arabian Standard Time (AST) to Azerbaijan Standard Time (AZT), which is usually a 1 hour difference.
