Dammam, Saudi Arabia to Baku is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive. Traveling from Dammam to Baku, you'll lose 1 hour due to the time zone difference. Azerbaijan's True Historical Gem

Sheki is Azerbaijan’s true travel gem, a small city off the forested slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains rich in Silk Road history and renowned for its fascinating architecture, food, and friendly residents.
Kick off your visit on the 15th (Sun): pause for some serene contemplation at Church of Kish and then take in the dramatic scenery at Ilisu Waterfall. On the 16th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the world behind art at Museum of Folk and Applied Arts, then admire the striking features of Sheki Khans' Palace, and then don't miss a visit to Sheki Fortress.

Getting from Baku to Sheki by car takes about 4.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of flight and taxi; or take a train. In August, daytime highs in Sheki are 38°C, while nighttime lows are 24°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Mon) to allow time to drive to Gabala.
