Azerbaijan's former capital surrounded by fine countryside and packed with cultural heritage, Shamakhi is one of Azerbaijan’s most historic cities and the birthplace of legendary Azerbaijani poets Sabir and Nesimi.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Juma Mosque. On the 12th (Tue), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Juma Mosque, then stroll the grounds of Yeddi Gumbaz Mausoleum, and then contemplate the long history of Diri Baba Mausoleum. On the 13th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: do a tasting at Meyseri Wines and then relax in the rural setting at Alpaca Azerbaijan.
