Copenhagen, Denmark to Baku is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. The time zone changes from Central European Standard Time (CET) to Azerbaijan Standard Time (AZT), which is usually a 3 hour difference. Expect a bit warmer temperatures when traveling from Copenhagen in August; daily highs in Baku reach 38°C and lows reach 26°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Mon) to allow enough time to fly to Nakhchivan.

When traveling from Baku in August, plan for somewhat warmer days in Nakhchivan, with highs around 41°C, while nights are slightly colder with lows around 22°C. Getting from Nakhchivan to Guba by combination of flight and bus takes about 6.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a bus. In August, daily temperatures in Guba can reach 39°C, while at night they dip to 20°C. On the 26th (Thu), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to Gobustan.

Gobustan
