A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Azeri TV Tower has been added to your itinerary. Museum-lovers will get to explore Heydar Aliyev Center and Museum of Modern Art. Baku Old City and Fountains Square are good opportunities to explore the local culture. There's lots more to do: don't miss a visit to Baku Boulevard, browse the different shops at 28 Mall Shopping Center, pause for some photo ops at Sculpture Girl on Bench, and walk around Highland Park.

Dammam, Saudi Arabia to Baku is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone difference moving from Arabian Standard Time to Azerbaijan Standard Time is 1 hour. Traveling from Dammam in June, expect nights in Baku to be a bit cooler, around 22°C, while days are much colder, around 33°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 27th (Mon) so you can go by car to Guba.

A gateway into the majestic Caucasus Mountains, Guba is a glorious stretch of countryside and a great destination for lovers of ecotourism and outdoor adventures.
On the 27th (Mon), admire the landmark architecture of Six-Domed Synagogue, then appreciate the history behind Guba Genocide Memorial Complex, and then take an in-depth tour of Mountain Jews Museum. Here are some ideas for day two: take in the dramatic scenery at Afurja Waterfall and then identify plant and animal life at Tengya Alty Gorge.
