Baku — 13 nights

A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.Step off the beaten path and head to Nature & Wildlife Tours and National Museum of History of Azerbaijan. Change things up with these side-trips from Baku: Mardakan Fortress (in Mardakan), Beshbarmag Mountain (in Siyazan) and Candy Cane Mountains (in Khizi). There's still lots to do: stroll around Philharmonic Park, see the interesting displays at National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature, pause for some photo ops at Vahid Monument, and get a taste of the local shopping with Ali Shamsi Studio.
