A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Step out of the city life by going to Gobustan State Reserve and Dreamland Golf Club. Shop till you drop at Nizami Street/Torgovaya and Museum of Modern Art. Step out of Baku to go to Gobustan and see Mud Volcanoes, which is approximately 1h 25 min away. There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Baku Old City, buy something for everyone on your list at Park Bulvar Baku, take in the dramatic natural features at Yanardag, and take in the exciting artwork at Ali Shamsi Studio.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Baku is an approximately 10-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Arabian Standard Time to Azerbaijan Standard Time is 1 hour. Traveling from Jeddah in May, things will get cooler in Baku: highs are around 28°C and lows about 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Gabala.

Sheki is Azerbaijan’s true travel gem, a small city off the forested slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains rich in Silk Road history and renowned for its fascinating architecture, food, and friendly residents.
On the 22nd (Fri), don't miss a visit to Sheki Fortress, then explore the galleries of Sheki Khans' Palace, then admire the striking features of Winter Palace, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Church of Kish.

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
