The City of Eternal Flames, the City of Winds

A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Get in touch with nature at Gobustan State Reserve and Yanardag. Shop till you drop at Nizami Street/Torgovaya and Museum of Modern Art. Step out of Baku to go to Gobustan and see Mud Volcanoes, which is approximately 1h 30 min away. Dedicate the 28th (Wed) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. The adventure continues: steep yourself in history at Baku Old City, take in the pleasant sights at Baku Boulevard, shop like a local with Ali Shamsi Studio, and enjoy breathtaking views from Flame Towers.
