Stockholm, Sweden to Sheki is an approximately 16-hour combination of flight and car. The time zone changes from Central European Standard Time to Azerbaijan Standard Time, which is usually a 3 hour difference. Traveling from Stockholm in June, expect Sheki to be a bit warmer, temps between 34°C and 20°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 1st (Wed) early enough to go by car to Baku.

A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Popular historic sites such as Heydar Mosque and Ateshgah Fire Temple are in your itinerary. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Juma Mosque and Dreamland Golf Club. Step out of Baku to go to Shamakhi and see Yeddi Gumbaz Mausoleum, which is approximately 2h 30 min away. You can drive from Sheki to Baku in 4.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of taxi and flight; or take a train. Expect a daytime high around 36°C in July, and nighttime lows around 26°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Mon) early enough to travel to Ganja.

A Young Spirit Located in an Ancient Land

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Lake Goygol and Imamzadeh Mausoleum. St. John's Church and The Alexander Nevsky Church will appeal to history buffs. And it doesn't end there: don't miss a visit to Nizami Ganjavi Mausoleum, walk around Khan's Garden, pause for some serene contemplation at Ganja State Puppet Theatre, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Shah Abbas Mosque.
