Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Baku is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone changes from Arabian Standard Time (AST) to Azerbaijan Standard Time (AZT), which is usually a 1 hour difference. Expect slightly colder weather when traveling from Riyadh in August: highs in Baku hover around 38°C, while lows dip to 26°C. On the 11th (Sun), you'll travel to Guba.

A gateway into the majestic Caucasus Mountains, Guba is a glorious stretch of countryside and a great destination for lovers of ecotourism and outdoor adventures.

Getting from Baku to Guba by car takes about 2 hours. Other options: take a bus. Traveling from Baku in September, expect little chillier with lows of 17°C in Guba. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Wed) early enough to drive to Gabala.
