A Young Spirit Located in an Ancient Land

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Spend the 23rd (Mon) exploring at Lake Goygol. There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Maralgol lake, admire the striking features of Mausoleum of Javad Khan, walk around Khan's Garden, and pause for some serene contemplation at Ganja State Puppet Theatre.

Kuwait City, Kuwait to Ganja is an approximately 14-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Arabian Standard Time (AST) to Azerbaijan Standard Time (AZT) is 1 hour. If you're fed up of the concrete jungle, take a trip to Gabala for the perfect getaway.
Go for a jaunt from Gabala to Ismayilli to see Ivanovka Village about 1 hour away. Next up on the itinerary: gear up at Tufandag Winter Summer Resort, admire the sheer force of Yeddi Gozel Waterfall, examine the collection at Gabala Archaeological Center, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Gabala City Mosque.
