Baku — 37 nights

A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Take a break from the city and head to Gobustan State Reserve and Yanardag. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Baku: Masazir Lake (in Masazir), Candy Cane Mountains (in Khizi) and Gobustan (Mud Volcanoes & Diri Baba Mausoleum). Spend the 23rd (Sun) exploring nature at Absheron National Park. There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Heydar Aliyev Center, take in panoramic vistas at Flame Towers, delve into the distant past at Ateshgah Fire Temple, and take in the pleasant sights at Baku Boulevard.

In June in Baku, expect temperatures between 33°C during the day and 22°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 18th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel back home.
