A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.Get a sense of the local culture at Gobustan State Reserve and Baku Boulevard. There's much more to do: make a trip to Baku Old City, explore the different monuments and memorials at Alley of Martyrs, explore the ancient world of Ateshgah Fire Temple, and play a few rounds at Dreamland Golf Club.

You can drive from Baku to Shamakhi in 2 hours. Other options are to take a train; or do a combination of bus and taxi. Traveling from Baku in September, expect slightly colder with lows of 17°C in Shamakhi. You'll set off for home on the 6th (Sun).
