Baku — 3 nights

A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
You've now added TES Tour to your itinerary. When in Baku, make a side trip to see Gobustan State Reserve in Gobustan, approximately Gobustan away. There's still lots to do: go for a walk through Baku Boulevard, see the interesting displays at Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, delve into the distant past at Ateshgah Fire Temple, and don't miss a visit to Flame Towers.

For other places to visit, maps, ratings, and more tourist information, refer to the Baku online trip builder.

If you are flying in from Israel, the closest major aiport is Heydar Aliyev International Airport. October in Baku sees daily highs of 21°C and lows of 14°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel back home.
