Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Ganja is known for sightseeing, historic sites, and parks. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: don't miss a visit to Nizami Ganjavi Mausoleum, admire the landmark architecture of Bottle House, walk around Heydar Aliyev Park, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Shah Abbas Mosque.

Baku to Ganja is an approximately 2.5-hour flight. You can also take a train; or drive. In October in Ganja, expect temperatures between 21°C during the day and 12°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Thu) early enough to travel to Goygol.

Goygol — 1 night

Located in the western part of Azerbaijan, Goygol and its surrounding countryside remain one of the most picturesque regions in the country.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Lake Goygol. Start off your visit on the 15th (Fri): take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. John's Church and then explore the activities along Lake Goygol.
