The City of Eternal Flames, the City of Winds
A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.Go for a jaunt from Baku to Gobustan to see Gobustan State Reserve about 1h 5 min away. There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Baku Old City, make a trip to Fountains Square, examine the collection at Museum of Miniature Books, and pause for some photo ops at Vahid Monument.
