A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Step out of Baku to go to Gobustan and see Gobustan State Reserve, which is approximately 1h 5 min away. The adventure continues: steep yourself in history at Baku Old City, make a trip to Fountains Square, explore the historical opulence of Palace of the Shirvanshahs, and explore the ancient world of Ateshgah Fire Temple.
