Step out of Baku with an excursion to Gobustan State Reserve in Gobustan--about 1h 5 min away. There's much more to do: examine the collection at Heydar Aliyev Center, stroll the grounds of Alley of Martyrs, don't miss a visit to Fountains Square, and contemplate the long history of Baku Old City.
