Kick off your visit on the 7th (Tue): don't miss a visit to Baku Old City, see the interesting displays at Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, then see the interesting displays at Heydar Aliyev Center, and finally take in the pleasant sights at Baku Boulevard. Keep things going the next day: explore the ancient world of Ateshgah Fire Temple, then stroll through Yanardag, and then make a trip to Mud Volcanoes.

If you are flying in from Serbia, the closest major aiport is Heydar Aliyev International Airport. In July, plan for daily highs up to 36°C, and evening lows to 26°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel to Ganja.

A Young Spirit Located in an Ancient Land

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
You've added Lake Goygol, Mausoleum of Javad Khan, Khan's Garden, and other attractions to your itinerary. On the 9th (Thu), make a trip to Nizami Ganjavi Mausoleum, admire the landmark architecture of Mausoleum of Javad Khan, take in the spiritual surroundings of Imamzadeh Mausoleum, admire the striking features of Bottle House, then walk around Heydar Aliyev Park, and finally stroll around Khan's Garden. On the next day, contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Goygol.

Fly from Baku to Ganja in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. July in Ganja sees daily highs of 38°C and lows of 25°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Fri) so you can travel to Baku.
