Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Baku is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Riyadh to Baku. Traveling from Riyadh in July, things will get slightly colder in Baku: highs are around 36°C and lows about 26°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Tue) to allow time to drive to Gobustan.

Gobustan — 1 night

Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape (UNESCO Heritage) covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.
Start off your visit on the 13th (Wed): learn more about the world around you at Gobustan State Reserve and then make a trip to Mud Volcanoes.

You can drive from Baku to Gobustan in 1.5 hours. Another option is to take a train. In July, plan for daily highs up to 36°C, and evening lows to 26°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Wed) so you can fly back home.
