A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Step out of Baku with an excursion to Gobustan State Reserve in Gobustan--about 1h 5 min away. There's still lots to do: take in the pleasant sights at Baku Boulevard, make a trip to Baku Old City, enjoy breathtaking views from Flame Towers, and examine the collection at Heydar Aliyev Center.
