Mumbai, India to Baku is an approximately 11-hour flight. The time zone changes from India Standard Time (IST) to Azerbaijan Standard Time (AZT), which is usually a -1.5 hour difference. While traveling from Mumbai, expect little chillier days and cooler nights in Baku, ranging from highs of 28°C to lows of 17°C. Traveling by car from Baku to Gabala takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and taxi. Traveling from Baku in May, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit cooler in Gabala, with lows of 13°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Wed) so you can travel back home.
