Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape (UNESCO Heritage) covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.
On the 1st (Sun), make a trip to Diri Baba Mausoleum. On the 2nd (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: don't miss a visit to Mud Volcanoes and then get a new perspective on nature at Gobustan State Reserve.
