Baku is known for sightseeing, historic sites, and museums. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: see the interesting displays at Heydar Aliyev Center, don't miss a visit to Fountains Square, explore the striking landscape at Yanardag, and contemplate the long history of Baku Old City.

New Delhi, India to Baku is an approximately 11.5-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from India Standard Time to Azerbaijan Standard Time is minus 1.5 hours. In June, Baku is slightly colder than New Delhi - with highs of 33°C and lows of 22°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Tue) so you can drive to Gobustan.

Gobustan — 2 nights

Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape (UNESCO Heritage) covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.
Kick off your visit on the 15th (Wed): make a trip to Mud Volcanoes and then get a new perspective on nature at Gobustan State Reserve.

Traveling by car from Baku to Gobustan takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train. In June, plan for daily highs up to 33°C, and evening lows to 22°C. You will leave for home on the 16th (Thu).
