Sheki is Azerbaijan’s true travel gem, a small city off the forested slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains rich in Silk Road history and renowned for its fascinating architecture, food, and friendly residents.
Kick off your visit on the 13th (Wed): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of Kish, admire the landmark architecture of Sheki Khans' Palace, then make a trip to Sheki Fortress, and finally explore the world behind art at Museum of Folk and Applied Arts.

Doha, Qatar to Sheki is an approximately 15-hour combination of flight and taxi. You can also drive. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Doha to Sheki due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Doha in June, you will find days in Sheki are cooler (34°C), and nights are slightly colder (20°C). Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Wed) early enough to drive to Baku.
