Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates to Baku is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive. In April, Baku is much colder than Abu Dhabi - with highs of 19°C and lows of 9°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 30th (Sat) so you can catch the flight to Ganja.

Ganja — 2 nights

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Start off your visit on the 1st (Sun): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Imamzadeh Mausoleum, then pause for some serene contemplation at Ganja State Puppet Theatre, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Shah Abbas Mosque. Keep things going the next day: tour the pleasant surroundings at Lake Goygol and then explore the activities along Maralgol lake.

Getting from Baku to Ganja by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a train; or drive. In April, daytime highs in Ganja are 22°C, while nighttime lows are 9°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Mon) to allow time to take a train to Gobustan.

Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape (UNESCO Heritage) covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.
Start off your visit on the 3rd (Tue): get a new perspective on nature at Gobustan State Reserve and then don't miss a visit to Mud Volcanoes.
