When traveling from Dubai in June, plan for colder days in Baku, with highs around 33°C, while nights are little chillier with lows around 22°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Fri) to allow time to drive to Gobustan.

Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape (UNESCO Heritage) covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.
Kick off your visit on the 18th (Sat): learn more about the world around you at Gobustan State Reserve and then don't miss a visit to Mud Volcanoes.
