London, UK to Baku is an approximately 8.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and train; or do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone changes from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) to Azerbaijan Standard Time (AZT), which is usually a 4 hour difference. Plan for a bit warmer temperatures traveling from London in June, with highs in Baku at 33°C and lows at 22°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Gobustan.

Gobustan

Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape (UNESCO Heritage) covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.

Getting from Baku to Gobustan by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: take a train. In June, daily temperatures in Gobustan can reach 33°C, while at night they dip to 22°C. You will have some time to spend on the 12th (Sun) before leaving for home.
