Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Start off your visit on the 27th (Sat): contemplate the waterfront views at Maralgol lake and then take a peaceful walk through Lake Goygol. Keep things going the next day: tour the pleasant surroundings at Khan's Garden and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Heydar Aliyev Park.
