A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Do your shopping at Nizami Street/Torgovaya and Ganja Mall. Dedicate the 13th (Fri) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's much more to do: tee off at Dreamland Golf Club, delve into the distant past at Ateshgah Fire Temple, take in the pleasant sights at Baku Boulevard, and see the interesting displays at Heydar Aliyev Center.

A Young Spirit Located in an Ancient Land

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Start off your visit on the 18th (Wed): stroll through Lake Goygol. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: explore the activities along Maralgol lake.
