Gobustan — 1 day

Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape (UNESCO Heritage) covers three areas of a plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art.
Kick off your visit on the 30th (Sat): get a new perspective on nature at Gobustan State Reserve and then don't miss a visit to Mud Volcanoes.

Sheki is Azerbaijan’s true travel gem, a small city off the forested slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains rich in Silk Road history and renowned for its fascinating architecture, food, and friendly residents.
On the 2nd (Mon), don't miss a visit to Sheki Fortress, admire the striking features of Sheki Khans' Palace, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Church of Kish.
