Sheki is Azerbaijan’s true travel gem, a small city off the forested slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains rich in Silk Road history and renowned for its fascinating architecture, food, and friendly residents.
Step out of Sheki to go to Gabala and see Tufandag Winter Summer Resort, which is approximately 1h 30 min away. It doesn't end there: get engrossed in the history at Sheki Khans' Palace.

You can drive from Gabala to Sheki in 1.5 hours. Another option is to take a bus. In July in Sheki, expect temperatures between 36°C during the day and 24°C at night. On the 2nd (Mon), you'll travel to Khinalig.

Khinalig
