A Young Spirit Located in an Ancient Land

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Start off your visit on the 27th (Fri): explore the activities along Lake Goygol. On the 28th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. John's Church, then explore the activities along Maralgol lake, and then browse the different shops at Ganja Mall.

A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Get some historical perspective at Baku Old City and Juma Mosque. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Nizami Street/Torgovaya and Museum of Modern Art. Dedicate the 30th (Mon) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area.
