Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Baku Old City and Nizami Street/Torgovaya. Do your shopping at Ali Shamsi Studio and Museum of Modern Art. Dedicate the 5th (Tue) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Heydar Aliyev Center, make a trip to Baku Boulevard, explore the ancient world of Ateshgah Fire Temple, and enjoy breathtaking views from Flame Towers.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Baku is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also fly; or drive. Traveling from Dubai in July, expect nights in Baku to be little chillier, around 26°C, while days are cooler, around 36°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Wed) so you can catch the flight to Ganja.

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
Head to Ganja Mall and Javad Khan Streetfor some retail therapy. Get outdoors at Lake Goygol and Maralgol lake.

You can fly from Baku to Ganja in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. July in Ganja sees daily highs of 38°C and lows of 25°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Sat) so you can catch the train to Gobustan.
