When traveling from Dubai in July, plan for much colder days in Baku, with highs around 36°C, while nights are little chillier with lows around 26°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 15th (Fri) to allow time to fly to Ganja.

Ganja — 2 nights

Famous as the birthplace of legendary poet Nizami, Ganja is a truly ancient city still bearing traces of the myriad kingdoms and empires that ruled over it in the past.
On the 16th (Sat), contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Goygol and then explore the activities along Maralgol lake. On the 17th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: buy something for everyone on your list at Ganja Mall.

You can fly from Baku to Ganja in 2.5 hours. Other options are to take a train; or drive. In July in Ganja, expect temperatures between 38°C during the day and 25°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 17th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Gabala.
